Truth opened for numerous national acts: Deep Purple, Turtles, Alice Cooper at the Eugene Armory, Doors at Hayward Field (UO), Grass Roots at Mac Court.

Truth played an informal gig with the Grateful Dead in the U of O ‘student union’ building with only a few hundred people there. A unique and very cool concert! — Gary Van Koten (2015)

Tom Lasley grew up in Eugene (graduated from South Eugene HS) before becoming Portland’s major entertainment ticket vendor.  As a freshman at Southern Oregon University, he arranged the Grateful Dead’s first appearance in Oregon.  After college, Lasley moved to Portland and made a small fortune as Oregon’s Ticketmaster franchise owner, before the corporation began operating its own outlets across the nation. By his mid-20s, Lasley was handling ticketing for every major musical act to play Portland during the glory days of touring rock and roll. He sold tickets to everything from Pink Floyd to Disney on Ice. (Source: OregonLive, March 01, 2014)

Hi, I just ran across your site. Dave Rodakowski died in 2009 in La Pine, and I am posting a link of the memorial that was held for him at Vic’s Bar and Grill. Dave was such a great guy and we all loved him around here.

Thanks for all the work that you are doing on your site, it is great!
