  1. The name of this stellar combo was Thee Others, members included Doug Montgomery (guitar and lead vocals), Scott Moyer (bass), Phil Jesson (drums), and Dave Tollenaar (Farfisa organ. We formed with the support of Montgomery’s parents who allowed us to practice in their home, provided transportation and secured bookings for the group. His mother also sewed our matching vests. (We also had some pink ruffley ones.) Scott Moyer’s brother Jeff managed The Torque Club (a mostly teen audience rock ‘club’,) which was the reason such a young group (junior high) was able to play there. Thee Others were strictly a ‘cover band,’ I have kept a song list, handwritten on cardboard, which used to lay on top of my organ to enable me to call out our next ‘number’.
