The Lemon Lime Band was the first band to play there. They held the House Gig for six months, six nights a week.

    The Searchin Soul played there. The management was paying us under the table though we signed a Union contract. The place went topless overnight and as minors we were surprised when the usual bar maids didn’t have their tops.
